My youngest and my husband have never had fish and chips before and both of them loved it. My son said 10/10. Lovely, crispy batter on the fish and great chips. Jumbo sausage, gravy (‘salsa’ ) and mushy peas were great too. Very friendly and attentive service. Highly recommend to English people living in the area and Spanish people too - the owners speak great Spanish. Thanks for a highly enjoyable meal! ”

“ Located in a prime spot just a stone’s throw from the beach in Jávea, Jávea Fish & Chips is attractively laid out, offering both indoor and outdoor seating with ample space to move around comfortably. The premises were immaculately clean and well presented, and the staff were warm, courteous and genuinely welcoming. The Panga, a freshwater fish native to Southeast Asia, was plump and had a nice, subtle flavour, encased in a crisp batter, though the batter was slightly undercooked in parts. The chips were decent overall, although a few were a touch overdone for my liking. A small but thoughtful selection of pickles added a nostalgic nod to traditional UK chippies. The cod was generously thick, served in a well-balanced batter, and full of flavour. The curry stood out – rich, with a subtle kick. The mushy peas were just as they should be: hearty, thick, and not overly seasoned. ”

Dog friendly too and bonus you can sit and have a pint and glass of wine while you’re waiting. We were only in Xabia a week and went back twice. It was that good! ”
